Homeowners drowned in calls. Contractors paid $40+ for “leads” that were already sold to seven competitors — then marked up every bid 20–40% to recoup the cost.
We started ContractNearMe because the incentives were upside-down. So we flipped them. Your phone number stays private until you choose a pro. Every license, insurance policy, and background check is verified with the state and shown up front. You pay each pro directly through secure checkout — funds go straight to them, and you approve the work stage by stage. And contractors get exclusive leads they never have to fight over.
